This Salt Lake City Temple wedding is probably one of my favorites to date. The temple just looks so utterly stunning in the snow, and I now consider Jenna & Michael to be good friends. This couple stole my heart from our first meet, where I learned how adventurous and connected they are. They love to adventure outdoors and take trips together. Upon meeting them, you can instantly tell that they are each other’s best friend. Michael flew out to Florida to surprise Jenna while she was vacationing with her family. He took her out on a sailboat at sunset to propose. Their proposal story tells me that romance isn’t dead. It’s nice to know that men and women still know how to woo each other. But I’m a total romantic at heart.
Their celebration was wonderfully classy from beginning to end, yet filled with the fun-loving charm that they have in their relationship. My favorite detail was their reception send off. Friends and family threw handfuls of biodegradable fake snow; perfect for the season and it turned out completely magical!
One of the best things about my job as a wedding photographer, aside from the honor of documenting such joy and romance, is getting to know people and walking away friends. We’ve had the chance to work together again since the wedding and I’m sure it won’t be the last time. I can’t get enough of their camera chemistry and the genuineness of their relationship.
I originally planned to share this on their one year anniversary, but I can’t resist. Especially with the Christmas season upon us, and the sheer lack of snow at the moment. Of course I had to include a few shots from their Temple Square formals session. Have a happy holiday, everyone!
